Established in 2022, Pfeifer & Langen IP GmbH with the brand Sucrosphere was created to merge traditional process expertise with cutting edge digital tools. Our founders, experienced technologists and sugar engineers, set out to deliver practical solutions that combine data, sensors, and predictive control for measurable improvements.
Sucrosphere’s mission is to make sugar production more efficient, stable, and profitable through digitalization. We empower factories with the tools and data they need to minimize energy use, maximize yield, and ensure consistent quality across every stage of production.

In total, the Sucrosphere team brings together a rare mix of deep industrial experience and cutting-edge digital expertise. We combine more than 150 years of sugar technology know-how with 20+ years of proven practices from the oil industry and over two decades of modern automotive innovation experience—including the mindset and execution standards shaped by companies like Tesla. On top of that, our specialists in machine learning and Model Predictive Control (MPC) include experts with PhDs in physics, mathematics, chemistry, and engineering, giving us the scientific depth to turn complex process challenges into real, measurable improvements.
What makes this power truly valuable for customers is that it is not theoretical: every concept is designed to survive real production conditions. We validate and refine our solutions through years of testing in multiple Pfeifer & Langen factories, proving performance, stability, and operator usability before rollout.
